What is covered under a Cosmetic Maintenance Plan?

  • Minor dents

  • Scuffs to painted bumpers

  • Bonnets, roofs and tailgates if possible to repair to an invisible standard

  • Stone chips on bonnets, roofs & tailgates are weatherproofed

  • Bodywork scratches not exceeding more than 2 body panels

  • Minor damage within 30cm

As with all policies there are some circumstances for which a Cosmetic Maintenance Plan will not cover:

  • Maintenance treatment request which was not completed during period specified on T&C's
  • Costs relating to losses normally covered under a comprehensive road risks insurance policy or losses resulting from a road traffic accident to the vehicle
  • As a result of fire or theft of the vehicle
  • Treatments to the bonnet or boot(other than surface scratches and stone chips)
  • treatments to the roof
  • Where the required treatment area in a single request for a single panel is greater than 30cm
  • where the body panel is ripped, perforated or torn
  • where the bumper or wing mirror castings are cracked
  • beading, moulding or unpainted plastic panels, accessories door mouldings, wing mirror glass, window mouldings, lights of any sort or any window panel.
  • General wear and tear, deterioration, oxidisation, hail, corrosion, neglect or a defect
  • any loss of us of your vehicle or any additional costs related to the maintenance or inspection events of any kind
