    Are you ready for Winter?

    Winter is considered one of the most dangerous driving conditions throughout the year for new and experienced drivers. Are you ready for Winter conditions?
Winter tyres have to offer consistently high degree of safety when it’s dry, when temperatures are low and when streets are icy and snowed in. By fitting special winter tyres, your vehicle is much better prepared to deal with ice and heavy rainfall, giving you better grip, shorter stopping distances and peace of mind.

 Why should you have Winter Tyres? Tyres with the legal requirement of tread of 1.6mm and correct tyre pressure will allow your vehicle to manoeuvre in bad weather conditions with grip and control; reducing the risks of being involved in an accident. Not to mention the economic benefit as winter tyres will last longer and will be more sufficient on saving fuel costs! An easy way to check your tyre depth is to do the 20p test. Simply place a 20p into the main tread grooves of your tyre. If you can still see your whole 20p then your tyres are illegal and this can increase the risk of collisions.
