It’s been a good 2015 West Way. As the New Year is fast approaching, let’s take a trip down memory lane and look back at the last 12 months. So much can happen in one day, let alone in one whole year…
January
- The winner of the Nissan Manchester City FC Juke competition, Raza Mohammed (aged 10) was taken to the Etihad Stadium in a Juke which was wrapped in his own design.
- Two of our models received awards at the Car of the Year Awards hosted by WhatCar.com. The first award went to the Qashqai for Best Small SUV, and the second to the Pulsar for Best Family Car Under £16,000. Click here to read more.

- Say hello to Prince Charles! Nissan's Sunderland plant welcomed a very special visitor - HRH the Prince of Wales came to see the production of the 100% electric Nissan LEAF. During the visit, The Prince of Wales was shown how a further 29 years of electric vehicle technology has helped make Nissan's electric LEAF the best-selling electric car in history!
- Nissan once again made history by becoming the first major car manufacturer to apply glow-in-the-dark paint to a car, with the Leaf EV chosen as the first model to unveil the new innovative UV-absorbing paint.Click here to read more.

- The new Sway concept was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Click here to read more.
- We say congrats to the ever popular Nissan Qashqai, as it became one of the top 5 best-selling vehicles this month as sales hit new record levels.
May
- Two of our dealerships triumphed at a Nissan event held at the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel in London’s Mayfair. West Way Birmingham won ‘Overall Retailer of the Year’. West Way’s success didn’t stop in the Midlands either, the victory travelled up North to our Oldham dealership, which won the Customer Quality Retailer of the Year award! Click here to read more.
- West Way Enjoyed its 100% Electric Event. Customers, EV ambassadors and our specially trained Electric Vehicle Specialist joined together to organise a rewarding event with access to in-depth information for customers and businesses thinking about switching to Electric.

- The E-NV200 range extended its family. It was only launched last year, but the e-NV200 family has already expanded and appealing to more and more business owners. The e-NV200 added two new additions to the collection – both the 7-seat combi and the Evalia edition. Click here to read more.

- The winner of the WhatCar? Car of the Year Award for the Best Family Car went to the Nissan Pulsar.
- Our Stockport dealership lent local Tameside Radio presenter Gareth Cottrell a 100% electric e-NV200 van so that his support crew could film his gruelling charity bike trek from Manchester to Wales. Click here to read more.

- Our team from West Way Manchester attended the Salford Big Day Out, and we were proud to say we were main sponsors of the event!
October
- Nissan revealed their first Autonomous EV Concept vehicle at the Tokyo Motor show.
- Another new grade was added to the ever popular Juke range, say hello to the new Juke N-Connecta!
November
- The MY16 LEAF was revealed to have a brand-spanking new 30kw battery that can hold even more power, meaning that you can now travel further. Click here to read more. - Nissan’s best-selling city car range has been supported with two brand new additions; the Nissan Micra Vibe and the Nissan Micra N-Tec. First unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show just a couple of months ago we’re excited to announce that West Way were one of the first to be able to offer both new models.

- Happy 5th Birthday to the Nissan LEAF! And just in time to celebrate, we also passed the 200,000th unit sold!
- Our Manchester dealership is currently in the process of having a major facelift! The new Retail Concept showrooms will have tons of tech including interactive spaces and i-pads galore.

- Look who popped into our Wolverhampton Dealership this month! John, AKA 'Nick Cotton' or better known as 'Nasty Nick' from BBC EastEnders came to see us while he took a short break from his latest character role as 'Hook' in Peter Pan at the Wolverhampton Grand!
So much has happened this year to fit it all on one page was difficult; It’s been a good 2015 at West Way! We are excited as ever to see what 2016 brings to us.
