The West Way guide to a used Nissan Micra
The Micra has been a popular choice with drivers since its launch in 1982 and has sported various looks over the years. With the latest 5th generation model, Nissan waved goodbye to the cutesy bubble car appearance and made the Micra sleek and contoured with cutting-edge features not normally available in a small car.
Small but perfectly formed, the Micra is surprisingly spacious and offers a comfortable ride for all passengers with plenty of leg room. It’s also as comfortable on the motorway as it is around town and with its responsive handling and turbo petrol engine, the Micra gives a fun and engaging driving experience.
And whilst we don’t want to keep going on about its size, the Micra’s compact dimensions does make it ideal for new drivers. It’s so easy to drive and squeezes into small parking spaces effortlessly. Many models also come with rear parking sensors and a camera – that’s not cheating is it? And most Micras also come with traffic sign recognition, lane-keeping assist and automatic braking so you hopefully won’t be bumping your car anytime soon.
