Perhaps the most impressive new change is the Nissan Qashqai uses the CMF-C platform, which uses state of the art automotive structure and technology architecture. How does it work? The vehicle body is constructed in lightweight material and advanced stamping and welding techniques increase strength but also reduce weight. The ProPILOT system we are familiar with, having been used across the Nissan range for many years, has been upgraded for the All-New Qashqai, offering even more driver support. Nissan knows that safety is a key feature that many look for in a new car, so developing its safety systems was key with the 3rd Generation Qashqai. The new ProPILOT with Navi-link systems are incredibly intuitive and have been designed to reduce tiredness and stress while driving.

ProPILOT with Navi-link is able to accelerate and brake the vehicle within a single-lane on a motorway. The system can accelerate the vehicle to cruise at a set speed, and then decelerate to 0mph in heavy stop-start traffic. It is able to resume automatically if the vehicle has been stationary for less than three seconds and the traffic in front of the car moves away.

The steering system and camera are constantly updating the vehicle’s position, helping the car to stay centred within the lane while maintaining a pre-determined speed but with the capability to adapt and maintain a safe distance to the car in front, giving you complete peace of mind on the road.
